Plug version 6for DIN 41529 connections

Perhaps the best speaker plugin the world

Made in Germany, every part is tested individually!

We are now introducing you to another version of our well-known speaker plug LSDN-1: Suitable for many amplifiers built between 1950 and 1990.

The LSDN-1 is a utility model protected by us!

Advantagecompared to conventional models

Previously, with older amplifier models you could only use cables with a maximum thickness of 2 mm². The commercially available plugs are not designed for larger cable cross-sections.

They were colloquially known as LS connectors or dash-dot connectors. The disadvantage of using this is that you can only use very thin cables for the speakers.

We have solved this problem with our model LSDN-1! The new N&K DIN speaker plug can be used with 2.5 mm² cables.

For cables over 2.5 mm², please use our LSDN ONE connector.

Product features:

  • separate colors (red for right speakers, transparent for left speakers)
  • Plus engraved on the plug via a recess
  • Plug made of environmentally friendly resin
  • Solid steel screws
  • Length of contacts adjustable
  • thick copper bars for good sound and low resistance
  • Made in Kiel, Germany
  • Each individual plug is checked for fit

The housing of the LSDN-1 is manufactured here in Kiel on a laser 3D printer. The positive pole is implemented with a 1.5 millimeter thick copper rod, the negative pole is provided with a 4.5 x 1.5 mm thick copper rail. These are cut here on site using CNC, then deburred, ground and inserted.

Manufacturing history:

Based on customer feedback, we have already expanded the opening for the cable on the negative pole (with version 2). The housing was then raised again by a good millimeter to create a little more space for the cable. In addition, the thickness available for the thread has been increased (version 3). With version 4, changes were made to the housing: the minus sign was added to the polarity designation so that there could no longer be any confusion. The font that was printed too deeply (currently only 0.5 mm deep) has been improved with plug version No. 5. This makes good cleaning possible and contamination decreases. In addition, the printing was improved, and the surface was made more delicate.

With the current version 6, we have changed the manufacturing process from a 3D printer to a laser 3D printing process. This makes it possible for us to also design semi-transparent connectors.
