At first, we cleaned and polished all parts complete. We kept the original screws because they are simply part of the lamp. Our team also polished the screws. Furthermore, the piano lamp is now characterized by proper cabling. With the electrics, we have carried out the grounding to the metal housing, which is unusual for lamps.

Enormous luminosity

We replaced the pull rope by a fabric thread. At the end there is a massive and chrome-plated brass ball. There is a grub screw inside the brass ball to hold this thread. Finally, we used a modern LED filament lamp, which is also included in the scope of delivery. It is a high quality Civilight E14. The luminosity is enormous and convincing! We connected the lamp via Wago terminals, because they have a better hold than comparable luster terminals.

In summary, one can say: a successful result!
