Nice restorationthat convinces

First, we carefully restored this carriage lamp. After all, we wanted to keep the patina completely. Furthermore, the shiny parts should be nicely again. In particular, the reflector is now functional again. It also emits a sun-warm light. We are enthusiastic about the great result!

New wiring

We also rewired the carriage lamp electrically. It is now also provided with a brass E14 socket. The earth is of course continuously connected. Furthermore, the supply cable has a considerable length of 2.80 meters!

Bulbs

The lamp is easy to remove. First, you slide it into the lamp roof. Then it is screwed down and finally screwed into the socket. We have an E14 socket here. This takes many commercially available light sources. We decided on the Osram Design Filament LED candle. After all, it goes perfectly with this old lamp.

In conclusion, we can now say: the French carriage lamp is fully functional. Therefore, it can be used immediately. The specific area of application can be determined individually. There are no limits to your imagination. A jewel for many areas!
